History of the child

Efimova Vera was born without any physical problems. But on the first year of her life the girl got meningitis. For 5 days Vera was between life and death. Only on the 6th day, the doctors said that the treatment began to bring results. Meningitis retreated, leaving behind significant consequences – impaired coordination of movements and bilateral hearing loss.

Nevertheless, by the age of 3 Vera had learned to sit well, and by the age of 5 she could walk without support. The girl went to a specialized school, but only with hearing impairments. The rest of the consequences have been overcome.

Now the girl has many achievements: participation in a dance group and a sign song ensemble, member of the circus club. In 2020, Vera entered the Children’s Art School.

However, Vera’s hearing aids are not powerful enough to compensate her hearing loss. The doctors selected devices for Vera which can help her to hear normally.

The cost of two such devices is 5 600 USD that is too expensive for Vera’s parents.

You can donate and help Vera to hear the sounds of the world around!
