History of the child

Matvei was an ordinary, healthy and cheerful boy. He went to the kindergarten and got on well with other children. But once upon a time…not so long ago… he had an epileptic attack.

Doctors have made the following diagnosis to Matvei — Landau-Kleffnera’s syndrome. The boy has attacks up to 10 times a day and also problems with the speech and hearing. Matvei can’t long fall asleep and wakes very early up.

Since this moment the family has tried all possible treatment: from hormonal therapy to intravenous injections of immunoglobulin. Every day the disease progresses more and more, but Matvei has a chance to win against it in one of the German clinics. However inspection and treatment in the University clinic of Freiburg costs too much for Matvei’s family: 36 050 EUR, and also 2 000 EUR for transportation costs.

But Matvei and his family don’t lose hope and faith in humanity!
