Reparative cranioplasty for Sofia Titova

We would like to share with you the results of the long-awaited operation for Sofia Titova (September 10th): it was successful!

The operation was needed due to the fact that Sofia had incorrectly fused skull bones. This led to head deformation and incorrect facial proportions. Without treatment this pathology could negatively affect both the health and psyche of the child.

In the future Sofia’s brain would grow with her, unlike the bones of the skull. Sooner or later they would begin to squeeze the brain, disrupting the eyes and provoking epilepsy.

Now all troubles are over. Sophia’s mother thanks for helping.
